Smith Metal Fabrications is proud
to offer a broad spectrum of manufacturing capabilities
for many different industries. We have developed
a reputation and have extensive experience at working
in stainless steel. The pharmaceutical industry specifies
stainless steel work such as trays, trolleys, frames,
ductwork and piping. Similarly, the food industry
demands a great deal of our stainless steel work
for cabinets, worktops, tables and seating. The semiconductor
and electrical industries require cabinets and containers,
punched plates and brackets to be fabricated. The
shop-fitting, furniture, banking, building, boating
and leisure industries, i.e. swimming pools railings,
ladders, steps, handrails etc are also supported.
Large or small, SMF is happy to tackle the production,
be it large security grilles and gates, or lift and
turn hoppers. Why not make
contact with us to discuss
your specific needs further.
AEP precision engineering
AEP Precision Engineering began trading
in 1984 as a small sub-contract machine shop, and
is still supplying customers from that era, Smith
Metal Fabrications Limited being one of those. With
Smith Metal Fabrications securing a major contract
for medical equipment in 1990, which required many
machined parts, an alliance between AEP & SMF
was formed. This Partnership has allowed us to offer
customers a range of facilities not usually found
under one roof, carried out by loyal and highly experienced
staff.
The last few years have seen AEP, although a small
company; continue to upgrade equipment on a regular
basis. We currently undertake work from companies
dealing in the semi-conductor, medical, electronics,
automotive, shop-fitting and building industries
etc. This work involves a wide variety of materials,
batch sizes and components. We also have access to
suppliers with a full range of electroplating and
hardening facilities.
At AEP Precision Engineering current production machinery
